Below is an agenda from one of our Professional Seminars. The details of the seminar will change your company forever! You will notice right away that this seminar is VERY different. You will have homework each night and will be tested each morning. When you leave, you will have developed a plan of action to immediately impact your company. We're not just concerned about your attendance at the seminar, we are concerned about your success after the seminar!

 

This seminar is based on our book, Culturrifc!. It would help you get a fuller understanding of the seminar if you checked out the overview of the book!

 

For best results, we recommend seminar seating be limited to 50 participants!

    "Morning exam to test your homework and class work."

9:00am Corporate Culture

                        Define Corporate Culture.

                        Discuss the 5 key elements of a service culture.

                        Define the terms "visible" and unvisible" as they relate to corporate culture.

                        Describe the two sides of a corporate culture.

                        Conduct a culture assessment.

11:30am The Culture Cycle

                        Define the 6 elements of the culture cycle.

                        Discuss the great culture change mistake.

2:00pm Experiential Training

 

    "Discover how powerful experiential training can be in creating an atmosphere of teamwork, trust, and confidence within  your company as you make your journey of culture change."

11:00am Vision Statements

                         Discuss the purpose of a vision statement.

                         Describe how to write an enlisting vision statement.

                         Discuss other company vision statements for reference.

                        Write a vision statement for your mock company.

12:00pm Mission Statements

                        Discuss the difference between a vision statement and a mission statement.

                        Define how to write and communicate your mission statement within your company.

                        Write a mission statement for your mock company.

2:00pm Experiential Training Exercise

 

    "Discover the importance of communication in a culture change initiative through completing an experiential exercise     known as Land Mines."

 

3:00pm Service Formulas

                        Define the term service formula.

                        Describe the three parts to a service formula.

                        Write a service formula for your mock company.

4:00pm Mock Company Work

 

    "During this session, the teams of mock companies assigned Saturday evening will break out into separate rooms and create their product, vision and mission statements and service formula."

5:30pm Mock Company Reports

    "Each mock company will report their new culture to the rest of the group one by one. The purpose of this exercise is to help the participants familiarize themselves with the process for when they return to their companies."

                        Define Learning.

                        Discuss the role of training in creating a service culture.

                        Define the four types of Corporate Universities.

                        Describe the 5 things that make a corporate university successful.

2:30pm Experiential Training Exercise

    "Discover what the term Everything Speaks is really all about when you complete this experiential training exercise called Noah’s Ark."

 

3:30pm Awards and Recognition

                        Define the 11 rules for proper awards.

                        Discuss ways to improve your company’s awards and recognition program.

3:30pm Developing Your Plan for Culture Change

   "Start to create your plan of action for implementing culture change within your company. You will work in cross-teams to get varied input and feedback."

5:30pm Assignment

   Reading: Awards and Recognition, Getting to the Heart of the Matter

  

   Written: Culture Change Plan Development

   "Morning exam to test your homework and class work."

9:00am Resistance is Futile

                        Discuss the resistance that all culture change efforts receive.

                        Describe ways to deal with resistance.

10:30am Plan Development Reports

 

   "All participants will share their plan with the rest of their team. Each team member will be required to give feedback and encouragement during this process. The purpose of this assignment is to send the participants back to their companies with a plan of action that will succeed."

1:00pm Closing Ceremonies
